"Sara Khan? No. Anusha Desai? Hmm, no. Vaisha Mehta? Na na."
"What are you doing, Devraj ji?" Manish asked, noticing his friend intently focused on the laptop.
"Manish! Come look at this Shaadi.com. I'm browsing for potential brides for my grandsons," Devraj announced proudly, pointing at the screen.
Manish raised an eyebrow. "Really? You think you'll find someone suitable on a website? With your connections, you could easily find high-class girls from well-known families who would love to marry into the Raichand family."
Devraj Raichand, a retired hotelier known for his playful nature, was the heart of the family. His quick sense of humour and a good understanding of relationships made him a beloved grandfather and a respected figure in the community. Now in his seventies, Devraj's most recent project was helping his grandsons find love and happiness.
On the other hand, Manish Bansal had been working as Devraj Raichand's personal assistant for nearly twenty years. What started as a professional relationship had grown into a close friendship over time. Manish was more than just an assistant; he had become a key part of the Raichand family. He had witnessed Devraj through many stages of life—his successes, struggles, and the daily mischief of his grandsons.
"That's exactly what I don't want. I don't want their marriages to be business deals."
Manish leaned back, intrigued. "Then what are you looking for?"
"I want their wives to be humble and down-to-earth. They should keep my grandsons grounded," Devraj explained, clicking through profiles. "They need women who can handle their personalities."
Manish chuckled. "So, you're looking for a miracle?"
"Perhaps! You know it's high time for them to settle down. I've spent decades building this empire, and now I want to see it flourish with the laughter of grandchildren. Don't you agree?"
"Of course, Devraj ji. But have you thought about how you plan to do that? Those boys of yours are as different as night and day."
Devraj waved his hand dismissively. "Differences are what make life interesting! Just look at Aarav." He leaned back in his chair, a smile spreading across his face. "He's the oldest—Mr. Excel Sheet! Always so serious and organized. He runs the family business like it's a military operation. But really, when did he last have some fun?"
"Exactly," Manish agreed. "He's like a machine! What about Aditya?"
"Ah, Aditya. My gentle-hearted middle grandchild. He's responsible and caring, always managing to keep the peace between his brothers. If anyone is going to find love first, it'll be him."
"And then there's Arjun," Manish laughed, knowing how much Devraj adored the youngest brother. "The prankster! Always joking, always filming his silly videos. I doubt he takes anything seriously enough to consider marriage."
Dadaji nodded, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "That's why I need to bring them all together. A little push from their old grandfather might help. They need to meet some great girls. Love is all around them, they just need to notice it!"
Just then, the door swung open, and Aditya walked in with a big smile on his face. "Dadaji! Manish Uncle! I have some news!"
"Ah, Aditya! Just in time," Dadaji said, gesturing for him to join them. "We were just discussing your brothers and their marriages. What do you have to tell us?"
Aditya took a deep breath, his excitement shining through. "I proposed to Riya!" he said, his voice filled with joy.
Dadaji's eyes lit up. "Riya Sharma? The lovely girl with the fashion line?"
"Yes! I asked her last night," Aditya grinned. "We talked about our future, and it felt right. She said yes, Dadaji! We're getting married!"
Manish smiled, giving Aditya a friendly pat on the back. "Great job, my boy! You've made your family proud!"
Dadaji jumped up, unable to hide his happiness. "This is amazing news! A wedding! We have to celebrate this love in style! But first, we need to make sure Aarav and Arjun step up. They have some catching up to do!"
